Advance settings for Netgear EX7000 Wifi extender

This extender from Netgear helps to boost your current network range and speed by providing you a dual-band Wi-Fi speed of 1900 Mbps speed. This extender combines excellent range with maximum Wi-Fi performance and it can work with any standard Wi-fi router and is perfect for streaming HD video and playing games. With this extender, you can connect your all devices like tablets, laptops, mobiles etc. The extender can be used in any access point mode as a Wi-Fi access point and create a new Wi-Fi hotspot by using a wired Ethernet connection.

You can view the list of all the connected devices to your network from setting of the extender, you just need to follow the below steps:

1.      Open a web browser on your device which is connected to the extender’s network.

Now, in the address field, type www.mywifiext.net to open Netgearnew extender setup page and tap on entering.

2.      When you are on the page, it will ask you for your ID and password and once you provide the information, click on Menu icon.

3.      In menu icon, go to settings and then go to Connected devices and you will see all the details of the connected devices.

You can also view and modify the Wi-Fi settings by following these steps:

1.      You need to do the same process as done above, open the browser and type www.mywifiext.net in the address bar.

2.      Click on the menu button and then go to Wi-Fi in settings options.

3.      In this option, you can see and edit your SSID and password of the extender.

So, if you want to change the Wi-fi network name then, on the same page, you will see Network Name option, type or edit your network name and after that click on save button to save your changes.
