through which you can easily update the firmware of your Asus router.
Step 1: From the official website of the Asus you have to
download the latest and the updated firmware of your wifi router device. You
can make the search for the firmware of the device that you are using from the www.asus.com/support.
In this blog, we have taken the device ASUS RT-N66U as a reference.
Step 2: For moving the page for the products, just click on
the option for the Driver & Tools.

Step 3: From the drop down menu, just make the selection of
the Operating system that you are using. The steps that we have discussed in
this blog, are for the Windows 7 32 bit type of computers.
Step 4: Click on the feature for the firmware and make the
selection for the latest version for getting it downloaded.
Step 5: You will have the downloaded file in the zip format,
just unzip that file and extract all the content. You will have one file which
is having extension of .trx.
Step 6: Now, you will need to search for the IP address of
your device. Click on the option for the utilities which is displaying on the
product page. Make the selection for the Asus Device Discovery tool and just
download that tool.
Step 7: After extracting all the files for http://www.asus-router-login.com/. You will have
one file whose name is discovery.exe file.
Step 8: Just run that discovery.exe file by doing so, the
InstallShield Wizard will process the steps for the installation for the Asus
wireless router on the system that you are using.
Step 9: After the accomplishment of the process of the
installation, you will receive the tool which is showing you the details
regarding the IP address of the device that you are using.
